Parts for MG
Just purchased the sills for both sides of the MG and thought I would update as to what I have spent so far on the panels for the car:
Sills- (Both sides) - £240
offside rear wing(full)- £52
nearside rear wing(half) -£36
both doors - £125
So in total I have spent about £500, just on panels, and have not even bought all of them. Probably going to have to get a job.

Shed Build
Spent most of friday figuring out how to build a lean-to shed to house the MG during the restoration, so put the wall plate up on the house and started digging a 60cm deep hole for the posts to support the other side on. The main problem with the space, where the shed is going is that it is by no means square, so its going to be a difficult build. So almost dug one hole, but then realised I would have to move about 1500 roof tiles to dig the second hole

Welding
Got a welder coming on thursday to check out the MG, and hopefully give a quote, then we can seriously get going. I think I just want the sills doing but may get the rear arches and wings done and the rear vallence, and i think that is most of the rust sorted out, except a bit on the top of the scuttle pannel and the tailgate at the top, but might get a new one.

Finally Started
Finally did something. I de-greased the second hand bonnet I bought from ebay a while ago (using engine de-greaser), then sanded the underside down and removed some of the dents in the frame, using a hammer and some wood. While doing this some filler came of the front, i staretd to remove the filler, only to find a huge dent at the front, that cant be removed, because the frame is in the way, so I'll just have to re-filler it.
Next I'm going to have to de-bump the bonnet skin. Need to get the sill's welded, but as the MG has been sat for 8 years they are very rusty!
Pictures to follow!!!!!!!!!
